At Energy Terrain, we are passionate about creating a cleaner, happier and healthier environment for the people and communities that live within it. That’s why we established the business in 2017 to accelerate the transition to renewable energy.
What we do
Our focus is on helping commercial businesses thrive by creating an environment where they can reduce their carboon footprint and their energy costs at the same time.

Energy Terrain creates value by providing quality solar generation infrastructure at no cost to commercial entities, supporting businesses and commercial landlords to accelerate their adoption of rooftop solar energy into their products and services, and to lower their electricity costs.

We understand how important quality and reliability is to our clients. Our brand promise is to ensure that everything we offer is of the highest quality available, affordable and reliable. Our reputation depends on it. Importantly, we install, own, monitor and fully maintain the installed infrastructure, leaving our customers to focus on their business and their customers.
Our Team
Stephen Grocott

Director

Stephen is a successful entrepreneur, with over 20 years' experience, and a background in software and IT. Stephen now performs a number of director and advisory roles, as well actively investing in multiple early stage startups. Stephen completed his MBA at Melbourne Business School.
Geoff Cope

Director
​
Geoff has acted as the Managing Director of his own consulting entity, Autumnal Consulting, since 2007. He has an impressive skillset ranging from sales and financial modelling to relationship management and communications. Geoff is responsible for managing our sales activities and lead generation campaigns.
Noel Johnson

Installation Projects and Operations Manager

Noel is a Mechanical Engineer with a Master’s degree in Renewable and Sustainable Energy Engineering from Monash University. Having started with us as an Engineering intern, Noel is now responsible for our operations and supporting our sales team.

Simon Ghattas

Junior Commercial Manager
​
Simon is a Business and Arts graduate with majors in marketing and psychology at Monash University. Having started at Energy Terrain in June, 2021 as a marketing intern, he is now responsible for lead generation activities and financial administration in his role as a Junior Commercial Manager.
